Here is how JOANN, the retail craft leader, plans to stay at the top by improving customer experience.

The Creators’ Studio, a large open community space where customers can take classes, host events and work on projects. It’s like a crafting coworking space with coffee.

Customers can rent tools such as long-arm sewing machines, Cricut machines, and Glowforge, which cuts and engraves anything from wood to acrylic;

A Modernized Cut Bar, which allows customers to digitally “check in” and continue shopping until a text message alerts them a Team Member is ready to cut their fabric;

 JOANN’s Custom Shop, offers custom sewing services for anything from suit tailoring to home décor and more.

New Cricut Shops, with added square footage, demo spaces, work tables, and expanded machine and material assortments.

3D printers are now available in stores. With these portable 3D printers, customers can create any project imaginable in just minutes. Each 3D printer comes with software so you can seamlessly print items directly from your smartphone, tablet or PC.
